Spammy power!

Brace yourselves people, it's been an eventful few days.

Are you braced yet?

How about now?

Okay, seriously, I'm not going to wait.

Fine, I'll just start then.

Now I can't remember where I was going with this.

So I was talking to myself the other day. I tend to do that when I'm alone in the house. Or think I'm alone. I wasn't. Apparently, I was kinda making plans to take over the world. Weird that. Even weirder that those plans might be working. Shhhhhhh!

So as it turns out, even being mindful of oddly successful plans for world domination, that I might not be in a rut after all. I just complain a lot I guess. I mean, work is always the same thing (and it kinda blows) and the love life (despite an interesting turn today) is still crappy, but after the week I had I can definitely say I'm not in a rut. It's also possible I never was. So there. That's good right?

Jay came to visit. It was awesome. We spent too much money on food, played video games, complained about girls, got wasted, did this thing where the asshole takes off on me and I drunkenly freak out for a few hours. Good times. Pretty much abandoned each other once the weekend hit though. I hate working weekends. It's nice to have him close by again, but if he takes off to the middle of nowhere again I am going to write him a strongly worded letter.

With bombs. Josh will help.

However, the whole reason Jay came to visit was because of our St. Patrick's Day plans. As days go, well that day kinda sucked for me. But that night....

made me feel like a celebrating drunken storm trooper.

That's why I like Star Wars. It applies to EVERYTHING. But seriously, it's been like 5 days and I still have green ink on my arm. Good night. It started with a bunch of drinks (and an attempt at a drinking game that didn't work cause everyone was too busy drinking) and ended with a drunken visit to work. And I must have heard the story about how Corrine knocked my brother on his ass during a foot ball game like a bazillion times. You know what? It was funny ever time I heard it. Also I had fun getting loaded and then taking turns with the girls discussing our love lives. Jay would have, but he was too busy complicating his own.

Not like we weren't trying to help. I had fun being sneaky with Laura and Amy. I think.

The details are still a little fuzzy. Unfortunately, the green marker is not.

As far as I remember (and the pictures prove it) I had a great night. Hey, nothing like listening to a bit of Killswitch Engage and then going out and getting trashed.

I like the part where Howard sings. That's the whole time. Might be my most favorite song in the whole world ever, and yes it is a fucking love song.

Wanna know something else? That wasn't even the end of the awesomeness.

My roomie had a speech to give at this cultural awareness night event thingy, so everyone who was in the house that evening tagged along. At first we were all like "maybe we'll just take off during intermission". But nope. We ended up having a great time and stayed for the entire thing.

IT was pretty much a showcase of talents and dancing and singing from all different cultures and backgrounds. It was awesome. People sang and danced and juggled and did a fashion show. It was a fun! My favorite part was this brother and sister who danced. The girl was doing a traditional dance from India and her brother did some amazing popping and locking. But it was great because the were on the stage at the same time, alternating and taking turns until the were both dancing together. It was a wonderful performance, not to mention the undertones of opposite worlds coming together. Great time. Also, best MC ever.

Is that the end Spammy? Heck no idiot, of course there's more.

Liv and Eric came to town! Yay! I like it when that happens. However I am slightly difficult to get ahold of what with the having no cell phone and all. Especially when I'm away at a cultural event thingy and not home to answer the phone. Oops.

But I was gotten ahold of! And it was great! Dinner out at Eastsides and just chatting away with good food and good (a lot, like 10) people. Plus we finally got more wedding pictures! Not like we were waiting for months or anything.

And then... BOWLING! I probably haven't gone bowling since Liv and Eric lived in town, years ago. I got a strike! Besides that I sucked the big one, since I blow at bowling. I had an ex who took it super seriously and tried to teach me. Didn't go so well. But I had fun, usually do when I'm busy throwing stuff at other stuff. Most amusing part of that night was Liv telling me "you don't need to hate someone to want to kill them". Remind me not to bother her too much anymore.

Second best part. Ninja turtle rap at the bowling alley.

I still remember all the words. And I proved it. My favorite part is when they call Raphael the leader of the turtles. It kinda bugs me. Maybe I should say most memorable part and not favorite.

That's me. Jealous anyone? You should be, my week was awesome.
